Bellied out umbrella umbrage
Soaked cover ripped spokes
Dancing tatters wrangled wind
Ruined bird ragged ribs
Dragged along limp and dangling
Aping pheasant for the pot

Dronfield Hall Barn is said to date from 1429 and Dronfield Heritage Trust have been fighting to turn the handsome building into an arts and heritage centre. Now a Lottery grant of £1 million will make the vision come true and work starts soon.
Moorside Writers visited the Barn on 10th June to see it in its current state before work commences. It is likely to be a source of great inspiration so watch this space!
